Today Ukraine works for energy efficiency of European countries, turning a blind eye to own coming "municipal catastrophe"

Price on public services will increase in the nearest future the reason of which will be debts of population before utility enterprises, "Glavred" said. This point of view was said by Ivan Nadein, head of Ukrainian association of solid fuel producers, during the meeting in "Glavred-media".

Expert thinks that the reasons of the price increase will be: "First of all,  according to Ministry of Fuel and Energy data, Ukraine reduced the production of own natural  gas on 9% in the first quarter this year. Secondly, according to preliminary information, Ukraine will cooperate with IMF and the result of this cooperation will be increasing of Russian gas import. Thirdly, in case Ukraine will cooperate with IMF, public service will rise on 40-50% in the nearest future, because it is the main demand for Ukraine". So all these facts will be as stimulus for increasing of public services, so the rising of population debts before Teplokomunenergo, Nadein said. 

Chairman of Ukrainian association producers of alternative solid fuel thinks it causes to that enterprises Teplokomunenergo can't pay off with gas suppliers and the result will be that Ukraine will have "municipal catastrophe and it will be incomprehensibly where to get money".

The expert noticed that implementation of alternative sources of energy in Ukraine will be tas variant of solving the problems. Nadein pointed that today Ukraine is the producer and exporter of alternative sources of energy to Europe. Ukraine produces nearly 250 thousand tone in a year, and 98% is exported to Europe.

That is why actually, Ukrainian enterprises are working at energy efficiency of European countries.  "But today Ukraine has the least energy effective economy in Europe, despite that fact, that every year in our country are accepted various programs in energy saving and concerning reforms in municipal sector", - said the expert. Nadein thinks that these chats brings only aversion.

The expert noticed that for implementation of alternative sources of energy in Ukraine is need only political will. "Ukraine has great resource potential for alternative sources of energy. According official data, we have 64 million tone of solid fuel. This amount gives us opportunity during 10-15 years to reach index of North Europe and also to satisfy the requirements in energy resources more than on 30%", - forecasts the specialist.

Nadein noticed that today in Ukraine the boilers on alternative solid fuel are set very rare. "But they don't spread around by government. There is such impression that government is not interested in it - it is  better to import the gas and o develop the economy of other countries then own economy, such a way more deeply put ourselves on the needle", - said the expert.
